HOLIDAY CLOSURE shop closed for business from Sunday April 17 till Tuesday April 26, 2022.

BUSINESS CLOSURE  revised 14.4.22 I am now closing down my sales business, after a long run-down of my stock of essential oils. The small number of remaining sales no longer justifies paying the premium for product liability insurance, and my previous policy is no longer suitable for current circumstances anyway - the expiry of the old policy prompted my decision to close down now. I am now out of stock of base cream and have decided not to re-order, so I will not be supplying skin creams either. Apologies to regular customers for all this happening before I could give you an opportunity to stock up. Thank you for your previous custom, which was much appreciated.

SORRY, THIS PAYMENTS SYSTEM DOES NOT TAKE MAESTRO, SWITCH, ELECTRON OR OTHER DEBIT CARDS. I wish it did, but getting any suitable payment system that did not cost a fortune in set-up costs was difficult enough! 

SALES POLICY

I aim to supply good quality oils at reasonable prices. I have a minimal (or hostile) approach to packaging and "image". I re-use packaging, use basic labelling, and avoid glossy brochures. I  sell on price and quality of the oils, and a straight and open attitude. 

I won't try to sell to you on the grounds that aromatherapy is mystical, or that the ancient Egyptians practised it, or that my oils are from a "first distillation" (aren't all good essential oils?).

My turnover is below the threshold for  VAT, which helps keep the prices down.

 

ESSENTIAL OILS; I have not yet listed country of origin here (though my bottle labels usually do); do e-mail me with any queries. All oils come from suppliers to the professional aromatherapy trade (as opposed to perfume or fragrance trade, or non-specialist shops).

NB Alternative spellings or names
Camomile or chamomile.
Cardamom or cardomom or cardomon.
Ho Wood is sometimes called Ho Leaf - may be distilled from either, or both plus twigs.
Oregano is also commonly known as origanum.
Ravensara or ravansara. The botanical name for this has also been given as Ravensara Aromatica. There are two different trees used for oil production, but there is much confusion over naming of species. See Tony Burfield's article (on his website). 
Vetiver or vetivert.
