SCARBOROUGH WORLD DANCE FOR WELL-BEING
Wednesday 1.20 - 3.20 p.m., termtime only, taught by me (Paul Boizot). St. James' Community Art Centre, 24 Seamer Road, Scarborough YO12 4DT, location map here. Restarts January 15, 2020, for 10 weeks. No class 18 March. Last meeting 25 March.
Established group but beginners welcome. Traditional dances from E. Europe, Greece, Russia, Israel, Armenia and elsewhere, plus recent choreographies to a variety of music. Some dances are moderately lively, some slow and meditative. No partner needed. Dances for enjoyment, relaxation, mobility and co-ordination - moderate exercise to interesting music. Both men and women are welcome.
Workers Educational Association course. Enrol for term. Fees for 10 weeks £76.00, or FREE if on means-tested state benefits, or Working Tax Credit and income under £15,276.
